Foundation of Convenience: Voyp’s Copilot stems from a simple yet powerful idea—providing seamless call management through an AI assistant. By providing the context and details of the conversation, the assistant navigates and manages calls on your behalf.
Addressing the Challenge of Insufficient Details: When insufficient details are provided, the AI might speculate and introduce unfounded details, a behavior known as ‘hallucinating’. Despite efforts to curb this through prompt engineering, a more sophisticated solution was needed.
Call Context Assistant: To refine the data before a call, the Call Context Assistant engages with the user to collect all necessary information. This ensures the AI knows the specific details required for each type of establishment it is tasked to call, such as not asking about pizza sizes when calling a hairdresser.
Introduction of Copilot: While the Call Context Assistant was a significant step forward, it wasn’t flawless. To bridge the gaps and improve the user experience, the Copilot feature was introduced.
Semi-Autonomous Capabilities: The Copilot empowers the AI Assistant with semi-autonomous capabilities, making phone conversations more interactive and accurate. During a live call, if the AI lacks the necessary information to respond properly, it takes a brief pause and prompts the user for additional details or clarity. Once provided, the AI continues the conversation, ensuring a more precise and error-free interaction.
